MUFTI DAY 03 JUNE                                                                                                         Just a reminder of the Mufti Day this Friday 03 June.  Our Mufti Day theme is “Favourite Book Character”.    Please send your children to school on Friday dressed as their Favourite Book Character along with a Gold Coin donation for this fundraiser.

QUEENS BIRTHDAY                                                                                                    There is a public holiday on Monday 06 June to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday.  Please remember there is NO SCHOOL THIS DAY.  Hope you enjoy your long weekend and we will see your children all refreshed and ready for their learning on Tuesday 07 June.

SOCCER FIELD DAY                                                                                                           Mr Burton and Mr Middleton have worked hard training some children at lunchtime for Soccer.  Congratulations if your child has been selected to represent Glendene School at the Soccer Field Day at Neil Ave Park, Te Atatu Peninsula on Tuesday 07 June 2016.  If your child has been selected, they will have brought home a notice.   Please send your child to school with $5.00 for transport costs.

PUBERTY PARENT TALKS                                                                                          There will be a Parent Information Meeting on Wednesday08 June in our school staffroom to talk about the Puberty Programmes that will start at school on Thursday 09 June at school for our year 5 and 6 children.  If you DO NOT wish for your child to participate in the Puberty Programmes please contact Cecilia in the school office or (09)8388603, text 02108475283 or send an email message through our Glendene School website page or simply just call into the office and let us know.
